Child Safety Standards

Effective May 12, 2026. Last updated May 12, 2026.

Our commitment

GlazeTrain is built to be a space for genuine, positive interactions between consenting users aged 18 and over. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) of any kind. This document describes the specific standards, technologies, and processes we use to prevent, detect, and respond to CSAE on our platform.

Age requirement

GlazeTrain is rated for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly permit users under the age of 18 to create accounts or use the service. Our Play Store and App Store listings reflect this age targeting, and our Terms of Service prohibit account creation by minors.

If we become aware that an account belongs to a user under 18, we will terminate that account immediately and delete the associated data in accordance with our data retention policy.

Prohibited content and conduct

The following are strictly prohibited on GlazeTrain and will result in immediate account termination, content removal, and reporting to relevant authorities where required by law:

Prevention and detection

AI-based content moderation

Every Glaze (user-generated message) sent on GlazeTrain passes through automated content moderation powered by Anthropic's Claude AI before delivery. Messages containing references to minors in inappropriate contexts, sexualized content, or other policy violations are blocked at send-time and never reach the recipient. The sender receives a rejection notice and is not permitted to bypass the moderation system.

Account creation safeguards

New accounts require email verification before any user-generated content can be sent. Suspicious or abusive accounts are flagged through automated rate-limiting and behavioral pattern detection. We use SHA-256-hashed records to prevent banned users from creating new accounts with the same email.

Image content

GlazeTrain does not permit users to send images directly to one another. The only user-uploaded image is the optional profile avatar, which is reviewed for policy compliance. Avatars depicting minors in any sexualized context are immediately removed and the associated account is terminated.

User reporting

Every Glaze, user profile, and account on GlazeTrain can be reported by any user directly within the app. To report content or a user:

  1. Tap the menu icon on any Glaze, profile, or message
  2. Select Report
  3. Select Child safety concern or the appropriate category
  4. Provide any additional context
  5. Submit

Reports involving child safety concerns are prioritized and reviewed within 24 hours. Confirmed violations result in immediate account termination, content removal, evidence preservation, and reporting to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement authorities as required by 18 U.S.C. § 2258A.

Response process

When a report is received or our automated systems detect a potential violation:

  1. Immediate suspension — the reported account is suspended pending review, preventing further interactions
  2. Evidence preservation — relevant content is preserved in accordance with legal requirements before any deletion
  3. Human review — the report is reviewed by the GlazeTrain operations team
  4. Action — confirmed violations result in permanent account termination, content removal, and a record added to our banned-email registry to prevent re-registration
  5. Reporting to authorities — confirmed CSAM is reported to NCMEC's CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org in accordance with U.S. federal law, and to other relevant authorities depending on jurisdiction
  6. Cooperation with law enforcement — we cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations and respond to lawful requests for information

Compliance with applicable laws

GlazeTrain complies with all applicable child safety laws in the jurisdictions where it operates, including:
